We also watch the movie The Patriot with the kids. I cried through parts of it realizing that my son is the age that some of the kids that were fighting. I cannot imagine my son having the responsibilities that these kids had and took! We take for granted what our kids have in them and we especially take for granted our freedom!!! I thank for the soldiers who protect us and maintain our freedom. I also pray that my children never have to experience war first hand.
