What a great weekend we had. Barry and I actually got to go out on a date Saturday night. It was great. We went to the new Jazz place in D'ville - Sassafras. The food was okay, but the company was terrific. We talked and laughed and it was wonderful hanging out with my honey.
We then headed over to Jolty's Coffee to listen to Paul Patuka and Doug Roach jam for a while. Barry brought along his banjo just in case and as soon as we showed up Paul was asking where's your banjo. Well, the guys played for about 2 1/2 hours and I sat and listened while drinking a cappachino and caught up with my friend Kerry (Paul's wife) and Beverly (Doug's wife). I had an outstanding evening and we have decided to do it again VERY SOON!
