SAT Scores

Devin finally got his SAT scores last week! WOW amazing!

The average High School Senior scores 1540 on the SAT. Devin in the 7th grade scored 1640! I was floored! You did great Devin and I am so proud of you!!!!!!

New Car Shopping

Yes, the Subaru is finally gone. I really loved that car. We went to the Honda dealership to test drive my new Honda Odessey and the kids found some cars that they want for their 16th birthday! Hope they are planning on doing some major saving because they won't get these from me! They have really good taste though.

Kiowa Island

Barry got the opportunity to go to Kiowa Island, SC for a travel show and had the opportunity to play the beach course with his boss Tom while there. It is beautiful! The sand traps were HUGE!!! I'm glad he has these perks that make up for having to be away from home.

Both of the kids got straight A's for the first semester of school! GREAT JOB guys!!!!

Cheersport - Grand Championships 1-27-08

The guys joined us today and as you can see this is how they entertained themselves. They pretty much looked like this from 10 til 2.

After awards the coaches have a pow wow of what to expect at practice the next few weeks.

Monday Fun

After Emily had Cheer practice on MLK day we headed to Ted's for lunch and then to Dave & Busters for some fun. We had a great time.

This past weekend we went to the WSA Competition in Birmingham and the girls placed 2nd. They were so excited and very proud of themselves!

Devin went with us and this is pretty much how he looked the entire time! One day soon he is going to notice all the beautiful girls surrounding him.

I never would have thought this would be so much fun! I'd be in on it too if we had another guitar. There has been plenty of jamming going on in the Johnston house since Christmas!

Christmas Morning

Barry and I told the kids it was going to be a simple Christmas and that they were not getting much. Devin wanted a WII and or a PS3 which we told him were out of the question. No way could we afford that! Yes, of course, we LIED! But they did nt know that. We hid the PS3 and Em's DS in the oven because we knew they would recognize the box and we also hid Rock Band in the garage. Sneaky we were.



This monkey Devin got was so much fun. You stretched him out and he would shoot across the room making monkey noises. Barry and I tried it out on the sidewalk at the shopping center and laughed and laughed.

Well, Look what we have here in the stove!!

Devin told me he would ACTUALLY kiss me if he got a PS3. This was his kiss! I should be carefull of what I ask for. In all seriousness, I did get my kiss.

Raven is not sure what to think !!

Emily got her first make-up for Christmas. She was so excited to try it out. I was not sure how long it would last seeing her with some pretty interesting "looks". She only wears eyeliner sometimes now.
