Happy Birthday to ME

I took my birthday off from work and we headed to Savannah early for Emily's last cheerleading competition. We got to hang out in Savannah most of the day on Friday and had a great time. The weather was beautiful and it was a WONDERFUL day!

Happy Birthday Mom

To grandmother's house we go. Does anyone else notice that I'm NOT in the front seat? The kids have taken a liking to sticking me in the backseat. Especially Devin. He says it is easier to irritate me this way. AND HE DOES!

Hello DAD!

Devin hates getting his picture made which makes it much more fun to take!
I'm hoping she is just bored!

Happy 62nd Birthday Mom!

apparently Barry is a bit looney today.

Cheer Star Tryouts

Yes, it is time already. Em was so nervous. She was afraid she would not make the team and afraid she would. She has to move up to a Junior team this year. D'ville was not sure at the time of tryouts if they would even do a Jr team. They were hoping to do a Jr. Level 3 and that would mean that she would have to throw her standing and Roundoff BH at tryouts and forever more. She threw 3 standing and 1 running and landed them all. She was so excited.

Well, we can finally get her hair up in a ponytail again.

After a very long weekend of waiting, Erica finally sent an e-mail and said they had decided not to have a Junior team this year. She was very disappointed and I was surprised at how disappointed I was.

But not to worry, there is plenty more to do. She is trying out for middle school cheerleading and will continue to take tumbling classes in the hopes of a Junior team next year. She also said something about trying out for soccer too. Whatever works for me.

Raven's Happy

For those of you who don't believe an animal smiles, just check out this picture. She is so sweet!

Knoxville, TN - Just us Girls

Our girls competed in Knoxville this weekend and it was a really stressful weekend for the girls. Their biggest rival was also there and they were out to win.

Heading to warm-ups we had to have pictures!

After day one they had done fabulous. We were in 2nd place and the girls were thrilled. They had their best routine yet and were so proud of themselves! It was awesome just to watch.

We headed back to the hotel to change and don't you love what happens to the hair when you take it down from all the clips and hairspray.

We then headed over to Cheasapeakes for a quite dinner with Melissa and Alexandra. They have fabulous food and it can be pricey, but we pinched our pennies and ate cheap. The girls were so silly.

Not only were we out of town and had to be up an hour earlier than the day before, but we also lost an hour due to the time change. I'd say the girls look pretty well awake though. They were chillaxing in the rocking chairs before the competition started.

Alexandra is in charge of Emily's lips (according to the girls) and I loved watching them. They were so serious.

Great job Alexandra!!!

This sideways picture is of the mini coach - Rachael with her police scooter. We just love her!

Coaches - Rachael, Becca and Erica.

Becca, Rachael, Erica and our newest coach Rob.

I loved these next pictures. Joy was giving the yellow team a power pep talk. Joy is an amazing motivational speaker and she had the girls total attention and she had them pumped up. It was so awesome!

I just love my Emily! What a beauty!

Our Tiny's and Mini's placed first and our Level 2 and Level 3's both got 2nd. It was a great weekend! It was also a quite ride home. I love electronics!

One more competition !!!!
GO CHEER STARS!!!

New Car Shopping

Yes, the Subaru is finally gone. I really loved that car. We went to the Honda dealership to test drive my new Honda Odessey and the kids found some cars that they want for their 16th birthday! Hope they are planning on doing some major saving because they won't get these from me! They have really good taste though.

This one is Devin's favorite!

Kiowa Island

Barry got the opportunity to go to Kiowa Island, SC for a travel show and had the opportunity to play the beach course with his boss Tom while there. It is beautiful! The sand traps were HUGE!!! I'm glad he has these perks that make up for having to be away from home.

ALL A's

GO EMILY

GO DEVIN

Both of the kids got straight A's for the first semester of school! GREAT JOB guys!!!!
