Scuba Diving

I took the kids to see Barry at his travel show yesterday at the Cobb Galleria and they had the coolest thing set up. The Dive Shop had a 4 foot pool and I thought they were doing demonstrations, but when we walked over they offered to let me and the kids try scuba diving. I turned them down, but the kids were game. They gave them wetsuits to wear and off they went. They took to it very quickly and swam around for a good hour. They had a marvelous time and if given the chance I believe they both would get certified and would love to really go diving. I just don't think my pocketbook could handle it! It was really cool watching them though. They are such cool kids. When they were getting out, the gentleman with the beard told me they were good kids and that we had done well with them. That made me feel great.

Happy Birthday Emily!!!

Yep, Emily is now 12 years old! I cannot believe she has gotten so big. She went to help her daddy set up at his travel show today and he took her to lunch at the Cheesecake Factory. I got off work early and we went and got our nails done and then we opened presents. She got a membership to Gold's Gym, a gift card so we can go shopping, several CD's, 2 webkins and some other things that I cannot think of at the moment. We then headed to eat Japanese! Excellent choice Em!!

Shopping and Buffalo Wild Wings

Emily and I went shopping all afternoon last Saturday and had a great time. We bought the yellow outfit you see in the pictures and then we had dinner with the boys at Buffalo Wild Wings so they could watch the games. A pretty good Saturday if you ask me.

Emily has a new Do

I really like her new hair cut. It really compliments her and makes her look older. She also looks a lot like my little sister Becky when she was her age.

Work

For those of you who used to call me at work and e-mail me, these are my new digs. I've been at Trimont for 9 months now and it has been really good. The atmosphere is VERY different than at LNR and as you can see, I'm in a very open environment. So, if I don't answer you between 7 and 4 it is not cause I'm ignoring you!!!

Last Competition - Day 2

First thing off, Joy gets up and makes Secret and I cry! I love Joy and am going to really miss her. What an awesome woman!!!

Well, she gets up and surprises Secret and I by giving us a team mom gift at the competition. She said all kinds of mushy stuff and Secret and I both were crying. Then we opened the presents and I was really surprised. I got a picture of the team and all the girls had signed it and I got 3 charms for my pandora bracelet. Health, wealth and happiness. Jill and Sheryl were definately behind that and it was an awesome idea! I sure am going to miss all these incredible ladies I've gotten to know.

Being a team mom has had its ups and downs, but I'd have to say that I enjoyed it all. Thanks everyone for everything!!
