Day 2 - Busch Gardens

Bary was able to get us tickets to Busch Gardens on Tuesday. It was a beautiful day. While Barry and Devin picked up our tickets, Emily was practicing her photography and modeling skills.

We decided Emily's hair looks like Giraffe antlers.

This roller coaster is Montu. The kids really enjoyed it. As you can see, I sat this one out.

Meet my ancient Children.

Because we did not have to pay to get into Busch, we decided to take a safari where we could feed the giraffe's. This was amazing! I had no idea that they were so majestic. They move so gracefully and smoothly, I had no idea their necks could move like that. Check out those eye lashes too. Amazing animals.

It was a ton of fun to do the bumper cars with the kids! I enjoyed smashing everyone!

The next picture is pretty cool with Emily and the gorilla both leaning on the glass.

Devin really enjoyed riding Sheekra. It was straight down 200 feet straight down. No way was I riding that! He rode the second time by himself.

On our way back home we stopped at Downtown Disney for some Ghiradelli Ice Cream. Man that was TERRIFIC!!!!

Orlando - Day 1

We spent Thanksgiving this year in Orlando! We stayed at the Portofino Bay Hotel at Universal Studios. We have the same photos of the kids on these scooters the first time we stayed here a few years ago. They sure have grown.


I loved Suessville - They had it decorated just like I would imagine in one of Dr. Suess' books. It was fabulous.

We Rode the new rode the High in the Sky Trolley Train Ride. Devin would not let me take his picture, but with the help of Barry we got him!

Can't have Christmas without the Grinch!!!

Devin once again was not happy with me about a picture with Scooby Do, but he humored me! Aren't they cute?

We watched the Horror Make up show and I've seen it at least 4 times, but we enjoy it each time. Pretty cool stuff.

Devin does not want his picture taken, but loves to mess with everyone else - especially his sister.

Happy Birthday BARRY!!!!!!

Yesterday was Barry's 4oth Birthday. For his birthday, he bought tickets for us all to go to a Thrasher's Game! We had a marvelous time and it was a fabulous game with them tieing it up with 2 seconds to go and then they win it within the first minute of overtime! What a great game.

Aren't they cute in their Thrasher's shirts? Once again, Devin will not smile! Must be an almost 13 year old thing.

SEC - First Competition

Emily and Alexandra chillaxing before they go to warm ups. Alexandra is on a different team this year and they miss hanging out together and take every opportunity they can.




This picture was taken in the judges room right after they had performed for the first time this year in Dalton GA at SEC. They all look tired, but pretty happy. We told them to say FEVER so that is where are the weird faces are from.



Well, Alexanra did not get to compete this time. She fell in warm-ups an below you see Emily holding ice on her shoulder. Melissa and I took her to the Children's Healthcare Immediate Center on the way home and she actually broke her collar bone.
