After the Storm

The kids and I were out on Tuesday and there were some pretty bad storms, but on our way home the sky was incredible. Check out these pictures and just praise God for the beauty.

Duke University TIP

A ceremony was given for those 7th graders who took the Duke University TIP Program - SAT. If the students scored in the top 95% of those top 95% who took the exam, then they were invited to participate.








Devin was not particularly into this, but he did find out about a really cool summer program that University of West Georgia offers for 2 weeks. We are currently tracking down all of the items needed to apply. Thank goodness it does not have the outrageous cost of most of the gifted camps offered. I think Devin is really excited about this and I hope it all works out for him.

Take me out to the Ball Game

We went to the Braves game a few weeks ago and had a terrific time. I tried multiple times to get a picture of Devin, but he always turned away. However, whenever someone else was having a picture taken he would mysteriously pop into those pictures. See if you can find Devin!!

We arrived early and had dinner at the Chop House.

Honors Night

Smoltz go his 3,000th Strike out

Yep, my favorite braves player too. Barry and Devin went to the game last Tuesday night and had a great time. They had great seats and Barry even got the 3000th strike out on film. I'm glad they got to go and enjoy!
