Georgia Tech Game

I am 40 years old and I went to my first college football game last evening. Barry got tickets and we set out around 4:30. Both kids were very excited and hyper (their first game too)!

First stop was The Varisity for dinner. Then off to the pre-game fun

Labor Day with the Great Grandmother

We spent Lunch on Labor Day with my parents, brother, sister and their families. Oh yeah, Great Grandma Butler was there too. She is not doing so well and will be having surgery on September 20th. We are hoping all goes well. She is 86 now and looks terrific.

Everyone is leaning in the above picture because Devin did not want to get close to anyone in the picture so GreatGrandma decided otherwise and they all leaned.

Summer Storms

A couple of Friday nights ago a very windy summer storm blew in while we were doing Life Group. The kids were outside enjoying the wind having fun and being silly. It was so much fun watching them just being so carefree and truly enjoying the wind.




And of course there is Devin who also enjoys in his own way! What a cool kid.

FIRST GOAL

Devin has had a great time playing soccer this season. He is getting really good. He had his first goal during this game and I got a picture of the ball entering the goal. He was so excited! Then we celebrated and Emily got to have her picture made with a cow!

Devin's Adventures at Ted's

Devin has gotten even sillier if you can believe that. Apparently, this is normal for 12 year old boys. He apparently has a fasination with his napkin while we were at Ted's Montana Grill. It could also be all that pent of stress from school. I'm going with he is just being a normal boy. I'm not sure what his dad's excuse was though.

First Day of School

Yes, I'm very behind on my posts. Bear with me as I catch up!

Devin is now in the 7th grade and Emily is in the 6th. I cannot believe they are both in Middle School now. It is amazing how quickly they grow up!!!!!

Piggy Power

This is Sweet Pea. She is now 1 1/2 years old and doing great. She and Raven have become friends so I will hopefully be able to share video soon of them licking each other through the cage. It is pretty odd.

Raven as you can see is doing great. She loves to play and lick everything!!

Nose Flutes

After a visit to Ken Stanton Music, we have new instruments to entertain ourselves on the way home. Pretty weird if you ask me and goodness knows if you had a cold. Very disgusting, but the kids thought it was hysterical!!!!

Harry Potter at Midnight! AGAIN!!!!

Yes, once again it is midnight and we are awaiting the last Harry Potter book. It is close to midnight and I am tired.

We got the book and I stayed up until about 2:30 reading it. I finally finsihed it 30 minutes after Devin on Sunday. Not bad for a almost 800 page book.
